Twenty Four Hour Narrative

Our first assignment for Design class this semester asked us to depict a 24-hour narrative graphically.  By whatever means I decided, my goal was to change the perception of 24-hours. I based my project off a quote I found in Little People In The City, "Undoubtedly philosophers are in the right when they tell us nothing is great or little otherwise than by comparison." (thanks Jill) I've been dying to work on my first information graphics project for a while now and this assignment quickly took on that form.  Below is a life cycle of an adult May Fly and the lifespan of an average American citizen.
