I've been heavily involved in the marketing development of a new study abroad program that focuses on renewable energy and sustainable practice. Luckily I've gained a lot of experience and learned a whole bunch on the fly with GREEN. The project became some weird reclusive addiction, but most enjoyable and beneficial. I hope this doesn't sound like an exaggeration, but I fed off the rush of learning and troubleshooting on both the technical and design aspects of the project.
For my design class, our assignment was to create an info graphic that had an autobiographical element as well as hard informative information. I guess I stretched the biographical side of the assignment by making an info graphic of a side project. I definitely would have liked to include more variety with soft data, but I enjoyed the modulation of the flares and the restrictive rules I set in order to convey three different maps of information simultaneously.
